Freelance journalism and photography, based on my experiences as a reporter, news editor and foreign correspondent within print,  radio and TV for a range of Danish and international publications. These included 15 years in South Africa as Africa correspondent for the Danish daily Politiken. Wide range of communication assignments, particularly on development issues.

As an architect, I have worked in Denmark, South Africa, specializing in transformation of existing structures. I enjoy working with the atmosphere and constraints of older buildings, changing them to fit current use and life styles within reasonable budgets

Former Programme Manager for International Media Support (a Danish NGO that is among the world leaders in this field), running a large media development programme in ZImbabwe with a wide range of local partners and international donors. External lecturer at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, teaching conflict reporting, international politics and news analysis
